LINDAL supports the fight against breast cancer
Hamburg, Germany – October 1st, 2021
We recently pledged our support for a 122 km sponsored walk to help raise funds for breast cancer services at the Queen Alexandra hospital in Portsmouth. Starting at London Bridge and heading to Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth over 23rd- 25th October.
Funding the purchase of comfort bags for breast cancer patients
The aim of the sponsored walk is to raise money for the contents of 250 comfort bags which will be given to the hospital. The bags contain various items and are packaged specifically for people who have started chemotherapy following a breast cancer diagnosis, to aid them through the symptoms during the treatment process. Donations for the sponsored walk are being collected through a crowdfunding page where you can read more about Jenna’s diagnosis, the huge difference the comfort bags made to her during her treatment and how it inspired her to raise money to support others going through a similar, difficult journey.
Funding target
The fundraising target for the walk is £4,500 and we are pleased to say that the British Aerosol Manufacturing Association (BAMA) are supporting this very worthy cause too.
