100,000-square foot Columbus facility – over $20MM U.S. investment – hosts manufacturing, R&D, offices, and warehousing of innovative aerosol packaging solutions, to meet growing domestic demand.

Lindal Group, a worldwide leader in innovative aerosol packaging solutions, today held its ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new, state-of-the-art, 100,000-square foot facility in Columbus, Indiana that will further benefit customers in the fast-growing U.S. market.

This expandable facility is a key component of Lindal Group’s over $20 million investment committed for the U.S. market last year, which includes production, offices, laboratories and warehousing, all on the same industrial campus. To increase capacity and expand the aerosol leader’s product portfolio, Lindal invested in new injection moulding machines (IMM), Bag on Valve (BOV) and standard valve lines, various high speed assembly cells and a number of key customer specific programmes.

On hand to celebrate the occasion were James Lienhoop, Mayor of Columbus, Indiana, Trevor Lane, Regional Director, Indiana Economic Development Council, Cindy Frei, President of Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, Jason Hester and Mark Pratt, President and Chairman of Greater Columbus Economic Development Corporation, members of the Lilienthal Family, shareholder of the Lindal Group, Francois-Xavier Gilbert, Lindal Group CEO and the entire senior management team of Lindal Group.

The market research firm estimates the global aerosol market size at USD 68.76 billion in 2015 and expects substantial growth because of increasing penetration in application industries including household, food & beverage, and automotive.

“Our new Columbus facility is another example of our strength as a customer-facing organization that speeds packaging development and delivers state of the art equipment.” Lindal’s Gilbert said. “With accelerating American growth, we will continue to deliver our best in class packaging technology to help our customers to stand out from the crowd.”
