Global Sustainability Manager (m/w/d)

We are operating in a market, where sustainable solutions gain more and more awareness. Therefore, innovation, development and manufacturing of our widely used products has an increasingly strong focus on sustainable and environmental compliant manufacturing. To further strengthen our activities in this important area we are looking for a Global Sustainability Manager, new position being created.

 

Roles and responsibilities

  • Monitor the Sustainability Agenda from the LINDAL Group, being responsible for the coordination and/or implementation at the Group level of all corresponding activities to reach the goals defined by The Executive Team.
  • Stimulate the Sustainability awareness within the LINDAL Group, by increasing internal and external stakeholder engagement and commitment to sustainability activities (training, Information…)
  • Serve as reference point of contact between LINDAL Group Sustainability knowledge and 3rd parties’ partners (Customers, suppliers.)
  • Responsible for the preparation, implementation, follow up and filling, for internal and external environmental audits and certifications (i.e. EcoVardis and CDP).
  • Responsible for the CO2 emission measurements across LINDAL Group sites for scope 1 to 3 with external partner(s)
  • Along with the Group Quality Management, further develop the existing Quality Management System to include Environmental and Energy content, and have a lead participation in the certification and implementation of Environmental and Energy management system ISO 14001 and ISO 50001

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • You have a degree or equivalent qualification in Environmental, Safety and/or Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology)
  • You have proven experience in the Manufacturing Industry, ideally Packaging Industry
  • You have good knowledge on HSE regulations applying to manufacturing environment, Training as a safety specialist would be appreciated
  • You are familiar with working self-directed and are assertive
  • You bring excellent communication and networking skills
  • You are fluent in English, Spanish desirable
