Modernized manufacturing plants and newly developed actuators

With a market share of 28 per cent in Europe and a worldwide share of 13 per cent, the LINDAL Group plays an important role in the international valve market. With its Head Office situated in the town of Bad Oldesloe, north of Hamburg, the company develops and manufactures valves, actuators and spraycaps for all types of aerosol products.
Since the 70´s company owner Hans Peter Lilienthal successfully extended the company which was founded by his father in 1959. Today the LINDAL Group is represented by subsidiaries and licencees in 15 countries in Europe, America and Asia. 1.3 billion valves are produced, per year, worldwide.
The group does its own machine and tool manufacturing as well as having internal Research and Development departments. Apart from the production and the selling of standard valves and actuators the emphasis is on personal consulting and development performance. “Customer specific developments are one of our main abilities. From the first idea, design and test phases up to production we offer non-standard in-House solutions, which correspond to the product features in an optimized way”, explains Joerg Lichtenberg, member of the management.
Extension of the manufacturing plant in Metz / France
On Interpack 2002 LINDAL Group will present several newly designed actuators. But the focus will be on the extension and modernization of the manufacturing plants.
Meanwhile the majority of the worldwide valve production takes place at Briey in the French Alsace-Lorraine.For additional production lines and new plastic moulding a manufacturing area of 10.000 m2 was created.
One emphasis is on the production of Bag-On-Valve systems. LINDAL Group have made important investments in order to satisfy the request for the quantity and quality of Bag-On-Valve systems. |
